We are looking for a fellow to join our growing work to support family empowerment across North Carolina. Please read below and apply if you align with our values and are passionate to improve educational outcomes across the country.

Must be flexible and adaptive to the ever-changing needs and demands of a rapidly growing business
Proficient in Canva or a similar design software
Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Programs: Google Sheets, Google Forms, Google Drive, and Microsoft PowerPoint

The specs:

We are actively supporting 11+ schools and 12,000+ families through family empowerment efforts. This position will work directly with our Family Empowerment team to support our schools, families, and community partners with key aspects of our family empowerment model
Specifically, this person will assist our team with responsibilities related to survey + data analysis, data visualization, and program model evaluation
Participate in partner meetings with schools, families, and community partners
General clerical/project-based work
Contribute creative input and ideas in brainstorming sessions in an open and fun team environment. We are not a corporate office and do not operate as one. We want to hear your ideas and questions. Bring it!
Participate in frequent check-ins with SchermCo team members to gauge progress
10-20 hours per week, varies based on skills and alignment of need
Location: Candidates based in Charlotte, NC are preferred but we are open to remote candidates that are passionate about this position

Fellowship Timeline

May 2022-August 2022
Fellows may have an opportunity to continue with our team beyond August 2022 based on performance and results

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience, a monthly stipend
Class credit may also be available for current undergrad and graduate students. We are willing to work with qualified candidates to discuss specifics
