About G. Dewey Norwood:

Dewey has been with Wells Fargo for 22 years and his background includes work in Retail Brokerage, Capital Management, Corporate Communications, Investment Banking & Capital Markets, Community Relations and the Wells Fargo Foundation.

Dewey is a Senior Vice-President in Talent Acquisition Strategy and
Targeted Programs within Human Resources. In this vital and strategic role, he places special emphasis on providing diverse students and consumers greater access to higher education resources (scholarships), mentoring, career development, and comprehensive financial wellness training. On an annual basis, Dewey manages 90-100 national events and programs including Wells Fargo’s groundbreaking Beyond College Webinar Series.

Originally from New York City, Dewey is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (#CharlotteStrong) with a degree in Political Science. Outside of the firm, he works with several non-profits in support of education, health and human services, and youth athletics. Dewey and his wife Amanda reside in Charlotte, North Carolina and have two adult children.
