CDI Utilizes SchermCo Plan to Partner with DC International School

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: April 4, 2017

(Charlotte, NC) – Collegiate Directions, Inc. (CDI) successfully partnered with District of Columbia International School via their new service that was created in support with SchermCo. Located in Washington, D.C., DC International is a middle and high school that focuses on language immersion and inquiry-based learning. CDI will help DC International create its first college advising office to serve the school’s students on their journey to post-secondary education.    

“The business plan that SchermCo developed for CDI established clear next steps for pursuing new school partners for our School Support Program,” said Rachel Pfeifer, President of CDI. “We were able to identify DC International as a strategic partner and offer services that aligned with the school’s need to develop college advising supports for DC International students.”

CDI will partner with DC International for 18 months and serve approximately 520 students. This partnership will assist DC International in building a college-going culture, analyzing college-related data, and additional advising on other key factors to assist their students in attending and graduating from a four-year college.
